The Company is committed to the rational development of natural resources, production of modern, environmentally friendly fuels and reduction of the environmental footprint. In pursuance of the BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery 2022 Strategy, we are implementing initiatives that will allow us to enter the first quartile of international oil and gas companies in industrial safety, occupational health and environment, and also to develop human resources and contribute to the integrated socio-economic development of the regions, fully responding to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The main goals and objectives of BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery are the reserves replacement at the level of no less than 100%, efficient production at brownfields and its growth through starting up new projects, creation of new off-shore production hubs, development of technologies and introduction of the world-class project management practices, monetization of gas reserves and competitive production growth, optimal refining configuration and selling Company’s products at the highest profit. Successful performance results of BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery in 2018 confirm the efficiency of applied strategy, significance of identified priorities and allow to forecast further stable development of the Company for the benefit of its shareholders.

BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery pays particular attention to the associated gas utilization program, which allows not only to obtain its own electricity, but also to preserve the ecological well-being of the regions. In 2017, overhaul of sludge collectors of oil sludge was carried out at the Luginetsky and Sovetskoye fields. Separate collection of plastic containers from bottled drinking water was organized at the Company’s facilities for transfer to specialized organizations for further disposal. The building of the fire fighting stronghold in the village of Pionerny was completed. Due to the commissioning of the gas program facilities, the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere was reduced by 14 thousand tons.

The main resource asset of BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery and the promising goal of increasing production are significant oil reserves with high viscosity (HVO). The HVO field development project is implemented with the support of government agencies, research organizations in Kazakhstan and the city of Moscow. Achievements in the field of production, environmental and social activities, as well as a high level of corporate governance, openness and transparency of the Company are highly appreciated by shareholders, business partners and the investment community of the Company as a whole.

To ensure further economic growth, innovative development and strengthening the position of the Company as one of the leaders in the Kazakhstan oil industry, BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery:

2. – Increases the volume of production and sale of finished highly competitive products due to the development of the production of petroleum products and oil refining.
3. – Successfully implements programs to stabilize the volumes of commercial oil and gas production from developed licensed fields.

The main objectives of BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery are reserve replacement ratios of at least 100%, efficient production at abandoned fields and increased production through the development of new deposits, the creation of new production clusters on the shelf, the development of technologies and the introduction of high practical skills in project management, monetization of gas reserves and competitive production growth, optimal configuration of oil refineries and maximization of profit in distribution. The successful work of the company in 2018 indicates the effectiveness of the applied strategy and the significance of our priorities. All this allows counting on the sustainable development of BERKUT OIL, TOO Refinery in the future in the interests of its shareholders.
